Why Do Women Become Strippers?-Dream Girls

Could it be the same reasons that women become teachers and nurses? Not exactly, but don’t assume that all strippers are disreputable women. Strippers come from many different backgrounds. Some of them are wives and mothers, college students, dancers, musicians, and singers among other things.

Since strippers are generally portrayed as loose women with few morals, it is surprising that any woman would join such a notorious profession and endure criticism for her choice. What would make a woman (possibly an up and coming college student or a baby’s mother) become a stripper? The same reason that forces many people to take jobs they don’t want - money.

In an upscale club, strippers with a positive attitude and a great smile can earn at least a thousand dollars a week. The take home pay is very much determined by the type of club, the club’s location and clientele, and the stripper’s contributions herself. Nevertheless, even a less talented stripper is going to make more at a strip club than she will suggesting meal combos and bagging fries.

Along the same lines, many women who go into stripping see it as only a temporary gig until they make it in music or art. Eventually some actually make it into their chosen profession while others don’t, for a variety of reasons.

Those are examples of women who willingly chose to become strippers. Unfortunately many females are lured into dishonest strip clubs as teenage runaways, and once inside, they often develop bad habits which prevent them from ever going back home.

Just as sadly, many strippers dance as adults but deep inside are just young girls who were sexually abused by a person they trusted.

As much as some people despise females who work as strippers, stripping is actually the chosen career for a number of women. Their reasons for choosing that path are as varied as the people who choose to become strippers themselves.
